The Charmaigne Scott Band (CSB) is featured in this year's Monterey Bay Blues Festival (MBBF 2011) on the Payton Garden Stage! CSB appears from 645pm-845pm on Sunday, June 26, which is the last day of the MBBF 2011!

Greetings, EVERYONE. It is an honor to have you visit this site! Is the world alright with you, today? I sure hope so. It depends on how well we groove with it, I think. This site greets YOU in Chinese because it seems easy to say and understand while sounding quite elegant. I revisited the languages site to update and correct my spelling of "Happy New Year" in Chinese. Apparently, and in similarity with the USA, Europe, Africa, Latin America, and other places; China has several dialects spanning Cantonese to Mandarin and whatever else, in between. I like that, it builds cultural character and flavor. Click the link to a Chinese New Year celebration and get a glimpse into their fascinating culture!
Actually, I found another saying I like: I love YOU! I put about twelve translations in my cell phone, already! You can learn to say it in many different languages by visiting the I Love You in Different Languages site.
Soon, I hope we will visit everyone around the planet and immerse in as many of our World's cultures and languages as possible! Until then, this site can point you to some very kool translation plug-ins...I am trying these: Foxlingo---Babelfish---QTL Now, I am beginning to enjoy learning to use the language translators, a web FTP client, and some other tools, services, and plugins that are helping me update this site, finally! Yippeee. Still, I like greeting YOU with: Gung hei fat choi! However, if you think of another language to say this greeting, just drop an email and let me know. If I can pronounce it, it can help expand beyond the favored, Chinese saying.

Yes believe it! The New Year has come and gone! We are running the clock out just a bit too fast for my taste. Still, it is an exciting time to be in the world, don't you think? It is time for a semester break! Now, we can relax and catch our breath for a few days, right? Oh sure. So many amazing things are happening, layer upon layer. It's all good, though because I know from whence it comes.

Selected to perform at the Monterey Bay Blues Festival (MBBF) 2011on the Payton Garden Stage: Sunday, June 26, from 645-845pm.
We will bring the blues, R&B, Funk & Soul! U bring U! So, B there or B Square!
The CSB provided music for the NAACP's annual Lifetime Membership Awards Banquet. It was a wonderful event with lots of celebrities and VIPs filling the grande ballrooms of the Marriott Hotel in downtown, Monterey, California.
It was a privilege and honor to sing many superb songs with a most excellent team of world-class musicians.
